I had so much fun and a memorable time working with him throughout the audition and application process. I had so much pressure and discouraging moments because I was preparing for college prep as an international student. I really feel grateful for all his good and encouraging words to get through all the struggles. On top of that, his concise and comprehensive instruction in vocals and theories was tremendously helpful, and I was able to pass the audition for the CSUN music program.

Spending time with Yo Hwan was very meaningful for me. Transitioning from Classical flutist/pianist to jazz musician to get into Berklee College of Music, I really needed help. While searching for teachers or alumni, I met Yo Hwan, who was willing to help me throughout the audition and application process of enrolling at Berklee College of Music. He taught me jazz theories and different chords being used in pop music with my knowledge of classical theory, which was very helpful to understand. He also helped me with my audition process, such as ear training and interview questions, giving me helpful feedback to be successful. I was able to make it into Berklee College of Music with help from Yo Hwan. Even after I moved to Boston for College I still keep in touch with him. He is very funny and kind, a really nice guy!

Jenny is an amazing teacher who has helped me improve in piano very quickly. She was able to help me develop skills in multiple different genres. She was also extremely helpful in my journey to learning composition and music production. I highly recommend taking lessons with her, as she is a very talented and friendly teacher.

Jenny was a great teacher. She taught classical and jazz piano well and even helped me with composition. She is understanding and patient as well. She shared her ideas about improving my piano skills effectively, and I felt a lot of growth while she taught me.

When I was a self-taught piano player, it was a miracle that I met Jenny as my professional piano teacher. I wasn’t able to figure out my life goal at that time, but thanks to her, I was able to find out my talents and get guidance to submit my applications to the universities in commercial music. Moreover, she guided me on how to practice in many different genres, so it was beneficial for me to compose music. If I want to learn piano again, I’d look for her! 💗

When I was in 12th grade, I learned piano, composition, and harmony from her. I have nothing to say about how talented she is. She is super caring and thorough, so I’m still very thankful for her devotion. When I did well on composition/harmony homework, she drew a cute cat for me, haha! Throughout the lessons, I improved so much! Although it's been several years since I was one of her students, I still get in touch with her, and she still gives me good advice. Occasionally, she contacts me first to check out my status and condition. She’s a really wholesome teacher, just the way she is.

Initially, I had self-doubt and lacked confidence due to a lack of musical background and experience. Because of Yo Hwan’s comprehensive instruction in music production and arrangement, I became motivated and built the confidence to pursue my music major. I got a lot of help from him in music theory and harmony as well. Throughout the process, I was able to prepare for the audition, interview, and music theory placement tests solidly, and I got an acceptance letter from Berklee College of Music.

Jenny is a knowledgeable music teacher. On top of focusing on developing your piano skills, she provides excellent guidance on enhancing student’s musicianships. She is a teacher and mentor who provides holistic guidance in the students' music journey.

I got several lessons in music from different teachers. However, she’s the only one who’s been in contact substantially for a long time. :) The demonstration is very significant When it comes to learning how to play the instruments well. She’s always demonstrating playing different genres as well to develop my musicality. On top of this, she thoroughly and comprehensively explained the practical playing and theories in several music styles. At that time, I was getting lots of compliments from others about my rapid improvement as well! And, thanks to her good and encouraging words, I’m still doing music for a living with happiness. Thank you, Jenny ❣️

Through Ms. Jenny’s lessons, I was able to identify and overcome a persistent bad habit I had. She not only helped me improve my basic techniques, which I often overlooked while learning jazz piano but also took responsibility for my growth. Out of all the teachers I had met, Ms. Jenny stands out as the only one with both technical expertise and the ability to effectively impact her knowledge. In the brief period of preparing for exams, I was able to reach my full potential, and I’m grateful for Ms. Jenny’s comprehensive teaching style that encompasses both expertise and education.

When I was 20 years old, I went to see Jenny from Yeonsin-nae to Bucheon once or twice a week to take harmony classes. Teaching me with a hamster-kind look (lol), she pointed out my unconscious mistakes accurately, along with a clear explanation. As a result, I was able to improve within a short period of time. Thanks to her, I still make songs and play piano on my own without pressure. It’s been 16 years since I met her, and we are still getting in touch. I miss those classes! ♥️
